Why Everyone’s Talking About Yeo — The Best Sushi in Puerto Vallarta

Okay, so obviously we’re in Mexico and we’re eating A LOT of tacos right? But sometimes we have the craving for other cuisines and sometimes its hard to find them here in Vallarta. But let me introduce you to Yeo. They are serving the best sushi I’ve been able to find in Puerto Vallarta as of yet.

We went to the Fluvial location, and pro tip: My friend says the prices there are a lot more inexpensive than the Zona Romantica location.

So we got 3 rolls. The Spicy Tuna Roll, The Grizzly Roll, and the Softshell Crab Roll.

Soft Shell Crab Roll pictured: Rice, avocado, seaweed, asparagus, tobiko, toban jan and soft shell crab. (seaweed on the outside).

The Grizzly Roll: Rice, cucumber, avocado, shrimp, dynamite crab salad. Topped with salmon, sweet sauce and scallop salad (chopped scallop, tempura fritters, tobiko, chives, Japanese mayonnaise).

Spicy Tuna Roll: Rice, tuna, surimi salad (tampico), tobiko, chives and seaweed on the outside.

My favorite was the spicy tuna, I know I’m basic. LOL! But it was really the best — sometimes less is more!

So if you’re in town and looking for a good sushi joint, check them out! You won’t be disappointed. The service was also 10/10.

Food: 9.5

Vibe: We went to the Fluvial location, and the vibe was cute. Even though it was lunch there was a nice crowd coming through.

Will I Go Again: Absolutely! I loved it

As for cost, because I know people want to know, HOW MUCH WAS IT?! For 3 rolls and 2 cokes it was like $50 USD. Like I said in my TikTok (below), it was cheaper than what we get in the US… and good quality ingredients. So I say yes, its worth the price. Some will disagree, and that’s fine.
