Las Ninfas — The Best Mexican Brunch in Puerto Vallarta

Las Ninfas — The Best Puerto Vallarta Mexican Brunch in town!

Holy moly. I know this may sound crazy, but I have not tried Mexican brunch * in * Mexico ever. And, this past weekend I finally was able to and let me tell you something, baby, I am forever changed. I don’t know that I will ever get better than what I was able to get in the Versailles neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Las Ninfas - Puerto Vallarta - Restaurant Review

Las Ninfas sign out front — they love the birds!

This is Las Ninfas… Its just a 15-20 minute ride from Zona Romantica. And, I was so excited to get out of Zona and try a new restaurant in a new area.

The many birds they have, located outside of the entry way

They were such a delight! I love seeing resutarnats in Mexico with animals. You’ll see some restaurants always have pets, lol. I went to one once and they had a pig just walking around. I’ll have to review that place at some point, because it was phenomenal. But back to Las Ninfas.

Up close and personal!

You’re probably here for the food. Okay, so I had NO CLUE what to get, because it was my first time and the menu is pretty extensive and I was overwhelmed and a bit hungover. I wanted something hearty and filling and of course, authentically Mexican! So, I went with … drum roll please…

When I tell you this was soooo delicious, it was tasty AF! Very fresh, too. And, I didn’t know what to drink but I needed something to keep the mood light lmao… so I asked the attentive waiter what I should get and he suggested the hibiscus mezcalita… Which you’ll see in all its glory, below:

And, you’ll see my friend had the strawberry mimosa. Both were very tasty! Oh, I forgot to show you his food.. Look at what he had:

I believe it was the Huevos Motuleños with plantains. Delicious! And, I love how many brunch items were on their menu. They had a nice selection of items. I hate when its only 2-3 basic things. Like, they really went for it.

The vibe in here was electric and totally great. The only thing I’d “complain” about was the noise level. I am a gay boy of a particular age, and I am noticing noise really starting to affect me. But its Mexico babes. I have to retrain myself. LOL! But the noise level in here was a bit much. But it was busy! That’s good for them, because it is low season. So no shade! But overall I give this place a 9/10. I will definitely be back, and I can’t wait! Please see below for more photos from their amazing outdoor gardens.
