Tuk Tuks in Versailles: Best Thai Food in Puerto Vallarta?
Zona Romántica can be fun and have you outside looking like Nene Leakes after dark. The girls are out, the drinks are strong, and the energy is loud.
But if you’re a real foodie, you already know Versailles is where it’s at.
That’s how I ended up at this newer Thai spot called Tuk Tuks, tucked away in Versailles and quietly doing the damn thing.
We started with appetizers — bang bang shrimp and gyoza — and let me be very clear: 10/10 for both. The flavors were deep, rich, and unapologetically umami. I’m talking one bite in and suddenly I felt transported. Like… am I in Thailand right now? Because wow.
Bang Bang Shrimp
Then my friends convinced me to try another app (peer pressure but make it delicious), and by that point the drinks were flowing and vibes were high. I honestly couldn’t even tell you exactly what everyone ordered because everything hitting the table looked insane.

Every single dish my friends had was a 10/10. No misses. And the cherry on top? The owner was a whole vibe. Super warm, super welcoming, very “hey girl” energy, which always makes a meal hit harder.
Homemade Sriracha
A moment of silence for the homemade sriracha please. Wow. I never had homemade before and it was absolutely divine.
I will absolutely be back (literally this weekend, lol). No hesitation. No notes.
Pad Thai at Tuk Tuk’s
100/10. Best Thai food in the city right now.

And shoutout to Azu, Seth, and Fernie for the great company — yes, I’m still celebrating my birthday a month later, and honestly? As I should.
