The Best All-Inclusive Resorts in Puerto Vallarta: Your Escape Guide
Hola! I’m Nick, and I’ve been living in Puerto Vallarta for about a year now, and I know how difficult it is when you’re traveling somewhere but you want to know from a local where is good to stay. Well, guess what, you’re in luck. I know you want to come here to unwind, have fun, and take a little bit of the edge off that the world is currently presenting.

This article is for you if that sounds like you, and if it sounds like you want to go all-inclusive. You want NO FRILLS and you don’t want to leave the resort. As an immigrated local, I highly recommend you do leave the resort because there are so many great restaurants to check out but I totally understand if that’s not your jam.
So with all of that said, let’s get into this list. Keep in mind, I may get a comission if you book directly from my blog entry. If you like the information I provide here and want to help me out, that’d be amazing and I’d really appreciate it.
But first, before you book your trip, let me reassure you with these safety tips and the safety update for 2025 from my YouTube channel (You should subscribe btw!):
1. Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort – All Inclusive
First off, I don’t know anyone that does it better than Hilton. I had the honor and privelege to go to their SuperBowl party in 2025 and it was a sight to be seen. So if you’re coming during a time when there is a holiday or something like that, be aware — Hilton knows how to throw a party. All-inclusive, of course. So that could definitely be a selling point for some… The party had fireworks, endless food, SHOTS, and delicious drinks. All night long! I don’t know about you, but that is heaven to me and my pocket book. Check out the photos below…

Price bracket (approx): Mid-to-upper range. While I don’t have an exact nightly figure in all cases, given the design and service level expect something like USD $350–$550+ per night in peak season (though deals will vary).
Best for: Couples or groups who want resort luxury + convenience, but still control their budget somewhat.

Final Thoughts:
Whether you want to sip numerous cocktails by an infinity pool, chase sunsets with your partner, or keep the kids entertained from breakfast to bedtime — Puerto Vallarta’s all-inclusive scene has something for every traveler. I am going to break it down even further below… because I know sometimes its helpful to just cut the jargon and get to the real tea…
Here’s my two pesos worth of advice:
Decide if you’re going for luxury, family fun, or budget-friendly comfort first.
From there, choose your location — close to downtown for nightlife, or secluded for peace and quiet.
And finally, check what’s actually included: some resorts charge extra for top-shelf drinks or à la carte dining.
I am going to break it down in more categories below… so you can choose based on that… if that’s helpful—
Luxury-Full Experience (Top-Tier Amenities & Service): If you want the best of the best — high-end rooms, multiple restaurants, and top-shelf service — book Hilton Puerto Vallarta or Hyatt Ziva.
Premium but Slightly Less Expensive (Great Value + Comfort): For that sweet spot between luxury and affordability, go with Fiesta Americana or Villa Del Palmar. Both have amazing service, beachfront access, and strong reviews.
Value-Focused (Budget-Friendly All-Inclusive): If you want resort convenience without luxury pricing, try Hotel Krystal, Barceló, or Meliá. They’re simpler but reliable and still offer food, drinks, and a good vibe.
Family or Group-Oriented (Lots of Action & Amenities): For families or bigger groups, Crown Paradise Club and Sheraton Bugánvilias are loaded with pools, activities, and family-friendly entertainment.
Boutique or Romantic (Quiet, Adult-Only Escapes): If you’re planning a couples’ trip or honeymoon, Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel is the move — intimate, elegant, and right on the beach.
