Burning Burrito in Puerto Vallarta: Better Than Chipotle?
I always get the chicken burrito with, peppers and onions, beans, cheese, rice, pico, and guac! LOADED. So damn good.
I recently tried Burning Burrito here in Puerto Vallarta and let me just say… I’m officially obsessed. I always grab the chicken burrito, mainly because I love how easy it is to customize — you can pick exactly which toppings you want and really make it your own. The burritos are a really nice size too, filling without being overwhelming, and they offer options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, which makes it an easy go-to no matter the time of day.

Price-wise, burritos range from 93–150 pesos, which is roughly $5.50 – $9 USD, so it’s super affordable for the quality and portion you’re getting. During lunchtime, the vibe is pretty quiet and chill, perfect for a relaxed meal, but I’ve heard it gets more energetic and rowdy at night, which honestly makes me even more curious to experience it then too.
Food: 10/10
Vibe: 10/10 (calm and easy during the day, but apparently a fun scene at night)
Will I go again: Absolutely! I’ve already been twice in the past month… and that should tell you everything.
If you’re in PV and craving a solid, dependable burrito that hits every time, Burning Burrito is definitely worth adding to your rotation.
The Coffee is Puerto Vallarta’s newest obsession — Brazilian beans meet Japanese minimalism for a 10/10 café experience you don’t want to miss.
